Minimum 3 years cooking experience, 1 of which should be a supervisory position from a fine cuisine establishment.
Must be creative and detail-oriented regarding food preparation and presentation.
Must have excellent communication skills, good managerial skills and the ability to motivate
kitchen staff.
Knowledge of, and ability to maintain FoodSafe safety standards.
Job Description
Help the Head Chef plan and organize food preparation and cooking for service and special events.
Plan daily features and make sure all food meets our quality standards.
Prepare complete meals or specialty foods, such as pastries, sauces, soups, salads, vegetables and
meat, poultry
and fish dishes.
Must be able to run, and work on, a hotline during all times of service.
Supervise the activities of cooks, kitchen helpers,
and dishwashers.
Place orders and consult with vendors under the direction of the Head Chef.
